It’s not the easiest of times for Annie. Problems are small but each has its discomfort. The ascendancy symptom of sore mouth is unpleasant. Annie will just have to weather it out. Also there is the disconnect from many of her former activities. She used to be avid poster on websites and forums. And except for an occasional post now on Digg, which no one appears to read, she is basically off all forums. She is used to a lot more communication than she is presently getting.
She is still writing her stories and posting them on her blog, and sending them off to friends when she writes them, but understandably many of her friends are too busy to read them and/or respond. Each has their own busy active life now. And Annie has no idea if anyone reads her stories posted on her blog (Girl blog from Tucson).
Yes I would say there is a kind of emptiness, which she just has to live with. I would say she is handling the frustration of so little communication well. She doesn’t try to force it, and is willing (more or less) to go with the flow. Some times are times of emptiness, and this is just one. It's no big deal. She just has to find a way to get thru time as enjoyably as she can.
