lol Annie woke up such a mess this morning she thinks there is no way she can blog from me. She thinks “doesn’t she have to have her mind on?” She’s not in bad mood she just doesn’t know where she is. A mess is a good word. Because it’s like waking up and little bits of her mind are strewn all over the place, and she is walking around helplessly in a daze. Accomplishing pouring herself a cup of coffee feels like a big deal.

Even tho I thought it was better for me to blog from me before she checked her email, because I knew whatever was in her email, her mind would glom onto that, coalesce around that, and I prefer a blank canvas-- What could I do? the little dear was such a mess. And it felt like a treat for her to click on her email first. She has needed treats or promise of treats to get going this morning. The only way I could get her out of bed, was to say “you have that chocolate cream donut with your coffee.” Wanting a chocolate cream donut made her willing to get of bed and begin life again.

OK let’s do her emails then. There were two. The first was the offer of penis enlargement, which is strong enough to get thru every spam filter. These were her first junk emails and they will probably be the last. They have not succeeded in designing a spam filter strong enough to keep out penis enlargement offers, and they never will. The reason for this isn’t technical, altho it appears to be. As long as the longing exists by males for bigger penis, it will manifest as spam email in everyone’s inbox.

The second email was from Jackie of women’s liberation days, but not Annie’s women’s liberation group. Jackie was board member of NOW. The two girls did not know each other personally but seem to be aware of each other. Jackie writes the veteran feminists newsletter, which goes out to everyone who was in the women’s liberation movement back then.

And altho Annie tried to read the first one and the second one and even third one, which arrived some years back, they arrive monthly, she hasn’t read any of them for years now, it gets thrown out with the junk mail without being opened.

Which isn’t completely fair. There might be a tidbit in each one which would interest her. And if the advent of mail were not dramatic and traumatic, because the mailbox is where bills arrive, and Anne has run out of money now many times, she does not go thru the mail in a relaxed way. She no longer gets personal letters, everyone is on email, so she separates out the bills, and tosses everything else before she even enters the house. Jackie’s VFA newsletter always got tossed.

But for some reason she read the postcard from Jackie saying they are switching to email newsletters and to email them if she wants to be on the list. And for some reason she held on to it and it landed on her desk. And when she was sitting at her computer last week with absolutely nothing to do, she mailed her email and the email addresses of Helen, Pat, Marilyn, and Peggy, the four girls from women’s liberation days she is on email with now.

Then she clicked on the newsletter of VFA and thought “maybe it is interesting.” But for some reason what she saw up there made her click it right off again, and she wondered if she had been hasty sending Jackie Helen’s and Pat’s and Marilyn’s and Peggy’s email addys. “Maybe they won’t want to get this in their inbox” she thought. The only reason she was interested at all is because she thought there might be gossip about the girls she knew way back then. She thinks the VFA newsletter is like a class reunion, she will hear what everyone is doing now.

When she clicked it on, she clicked it right off. Because there was a wave of seriousness about it, as if there were serous articles. And she just can’t fathom being serious about women’s liberation now, it is not where her head is at. She has remained a revolutionary her whole life. And she is actively involved in revolutions now. But the two revolutions she is involved with are the revolution of consciousness on this planet now, and unseating the power elites in Washington DC and putting Ron Paul in its place.

Which doesn’t mean the women’s liberation movement is not a serious valid important meaningful movement. Men continue to have all the power in the world, women do not. And there is still a lot of consciousness raising Annie needs to do, to understand that this is so. And to move her mind into true power sharing between the sexes.

The truth is she never really understood women’s liberation, altho she was direct beneficiary of it. In other words women’s liberation instantly liberated her. If I were to confide where her mind was before women’s liberation, it would be a total embarrassment to her. She completely believed in being feminine, which was some disastrous, awful, prettily-wrapped version of being second class citizen in all ways. Her mind was awash with firm beliefs only a very young teenager, a boy crazy young teenager, could ever believe. She had completely romanticized the disempowerment of women.

A poor pathetic oppressed creature had walked into her first women’s liberation movement meeting with no idea why she was there. “Why am I at a meeting of all women, all I want to do is find a boyfriend, and women are not oppressed, we have the vote,” she thought, “this is all ridiculous.” And instantly women’s liberation liberated her. It happened at that first meeting and kept right on going. Every false idea in her mind was replaced by truth. And by the time she stopped showing up at meetings a year later, she was liberated, as liberated as she would get.

But other than consciousness raising, she had nothing to offer women’s liberation, she could only receive. Because it wasn’t her movement. She wasn’t a feminist, she was a hippy. The hippy movement was her movement back then. She loved to smoke pot, and she loved to dance freely outside to the band which showed up at bandpark in her neighborhood. She loved the Be-ins at Central Park.

All she cared about was personal freedom. Breaking out of that awful consciousness she had adopted in junior high school. The truth is Anne had discovered, stoned on pot, she could be herself instead of an image, and it was so much more freeing and happy-making to be herself. What she wanted, and what she had when she was stoned on pot, is she loved herself, instead of hated herself. That was what the hippy movement was all about, and why it was the movement for her. She was the hippy movement, she never was a women’s liberationist. Because secretly she did not care that men had all the power in the world, she was not concerned with power, she did not care about power. She just wanted to be free herself.

She was a Marxist and political activist back then because she was a passionate idealist and had no religion or spirituality, and she was always on the side of the underdog. So the 3 movements back then worked for her. Political activism let her express her idealism. Women’s liberation was crucial in liberating her from false beliefs which prevented her from having any kind of life. And the hippy movement was her joy, where she got to express her real self, and fell in love with her real self.

Women’s liberation made it possible for her to be a writer, because the other girls in women’s liberation said “reach for the stars, we don’t only have to be in the helping professions, we can do whatever we want.” And because they were writers they set a good example for Annie. She began to dream of becoming a writer too, which she eventually did. And that she loved. So women’s liberation gave her a great great great gift.

And in her writing she got to know her real self and got to express it. And since she couldn’t smoke pot anymore, it was her only outlet for her real self. And she was now addicted to having some experience of her real self, she didn’t care how, or which.

Marxism and political idealism fell to the wayside eventually. Because her ideology began to change, and it was based on ideology. In that sense she became a drop-out. She lost all interest in the world and political events. She had no way of comprehending it, or for it to be meaningful to her, without her ideology. She had been an extremely ideological girl. And that has been deep. Her dad had inculcated her ideology from the time she was 4 years old.

When she moved to Tucson she discovered there was a revolution in consciousness going on. And that thrilled her to her toes. Because it meant picking up where pot and hippy had left off in the ‘60s, what had actually been her movement. The revolution in consciousness movement was an inner movement, it takes place in your inner self. And she loved that. She had found her calling. And she was finally able to find a place for all her passionate idealism. Because after all it is both an inner movement and planetary movement, it involves planetary consciousness.

It is a way to liberate herself and to liberate everyone at the same time. This matched Annie to a T.

Plus it included everyone and excluded no one. It is not an “us against them” movement. The enemy lies within the mind, within her mind. She had to free herself in her own mind.

It was the most explicitly revolutionary of all her movements because it was overthrowing the world. And she loved that. It was how to free everyone herself included.

And then to her amazed astonishment she began to take an interest in the news and politics. I had to remove the lens of her ideology in order to see what was going on. But by that time she was in relationship with me, and that was not that difficult. All she had to be willing to do was to put truth ahead of every other value. And she finally, with difficulty and reluctance, made that choice. It was a hard decision.

And what a fascinating world she discovered as a result. I had to find a place for her to put her mind. She had already done the hard work in the inner changes. She had changed all her beliefs about reality. Now was the time to live it. And she had to have something to occupy her mind, interest her mind, while she was living her new reality. And news and politics fit the bill perfectly. Because the cast of characters is so interesting, the drama is so great, watching the halls of power and what takes place in them.

It was all the stuff of Shakespearian plays, played out in Washington DC now, and on TV. It is all about struggles for power, competing for power and the spoils of power. And a character emerged on the scene who was completely evil. Who had genius for amassing power and was completely evil. Altho he gave every appearance of being good as gold. He emanated virtue and all fell for it, or nearly all. And Annie realized this is how her country could be taken over by a dictator.

That that was what she was watching, a bid for dictatorship. An evil dictator, who all saw as good as gold. This was thrilling and dramatic beyond belief. But it was deep. She was called to save her country. During her days as Marxist and political activist she had seen her country as the bad guy in the world, and her ideology claims that capitalism and capitalists are the enemy. She was an internationalist, and thought patriotism was just an excuse for war mongering.

She was shocked out of her pants to discover she was a patriot. To discover about the Constitution and Bill of Rights and Rule of Law. She realized without the Constitution and Rule of Law everyone is at the mercy of the whims of those in power. And she determined to save her country.

She wanted to save her country above everything else in the world. But not above her new spiritual beliefs, her belief in changing consciousness, that always was first. But this came right under it. Annie became a political activist in a way she never had before, and with a passion she never had before. She lived it 24/7. It was all she thought about, all she cared about, and all she did.

And her country was saved from the danger, it had a narrow escape. No one she knew understood what was going on, or saw what she did, so she turned to the internet. Remarkably the very first post she read on internet, the poster saw everything she saw, and there are no words for the relief Annie felt at seeing that. She had been totally alone with it before. And after that internet became a long wild ride for her, until her country was safe, had its narrow escape. She was on a forum where both sides used each other. They used Annie’s passion and idealism to advance their political agenda, and she used their political agenda to get this dangerous man out of power.

At the end it turned into a blow-up. Once Annie got her desire, the dangerous man out of power, and they got their political agenda, it turned out they had nothing in common. Their goals were opposite, their truth was opposite. And each pretended they had not closed their eyes to that the whole time they worked together. Annie was disillusioned with them, they were disillusioned with her.

And after that she floundered around on internet forums. She no longer knew what her purpose was. But she was content with all the love, so much love expressed for her, so much love she expressed to them.

And then she saw clearly, finally. She had tuned out the world of news and politics for about 3 years. She saw exactly how the dark menace was arising again. How it had reconstituted itself, and why it was a million times more dangerous now. It had been moving in the dark all this time, and it now encompassed a lot of the world.

And she became voice in the wilderness calling attention to it.

But no one wanted to hear it.

And finally I could not bear her frustration. I said “the world will have to learn for itself, there’s nothing you can do.” And I focused on getting her off the forum. Which was hard. She was totally addicted. “You are going to have to find some other interest, you have to forget about politics and the world, you will just have to leave it all up to me,” I told her, “I will take care of everything. I can. And you can’t.”

And so she turned her mind away, until Ron Paul decided to run, and she knew that was the solution. But I am not sure how much I want her to go back into it. It has been 9 years now of news and politics. I had her start this Blog now because it is time for her mind to move into a new place totally.

It is time for a new adventure, a happy adventure. She will just have to un-addict herself to all the drama of the past one. And get used to seeing all the gifts which sweetness love light and truth can bring into her life.

post script from my Higher Self

P.S. Annie’s political perception has been recent dramatic event in her life. It is by and large over now. I want to go on record that she saw what I wanted her to see. And anyone under the guidance of their Higher Self is guided to the goal of the Higher Self for you. In other words all your Higher Self wants is your own personal liberation. Liberation to true freedom, true peace, true happiness, constant love.

Anyone who knows anything about Annie’s past can understand why it was healing and liberating for her to be on right wing political forums, loving them, letting them love her, and working for common goals. She was brought up to believe the right wing was the bogeyman. To discover their innocence and love saved her, is one of the things which saved her, from dark spots in her own mind. In other words, her political perception now is the right one for her. Because it brings her to me more completely. But in no way do I endorse the idea that anyone should see as she does. Only each person’s Higher Self knows the right way for them to see things.

As for women’s liberation, even tho Annie doesn’t care that the men have all the power, I do, I want power to be shared equally between the sexes. I have tried to talk to Annie about this, but it is abstraction for her. I have not yet found a way to make it real and meaningful to her, and I don’t know if I ever will.
